This is the first and only mention of “CEDiscs” found in the archives and also nothing is found about this format with a Google search. Possibly laserdiscs?

edit: Aha! Found it finally: It is the “Capacitance Electronic Disc”. Link.

“RCA began videodisc research in 1964, in an attempt to produce a phonograph-like method of reproducing video. Research and development was slow in the early years, as the development team originally comprised only four men,[7] but by 1972, the CED team at RCA had produced a disc capable of holding ten minutes of color video (a portion of the Get Smart episode entitled “Lum Fong”).[8]

The first CED prototype discs were multi-layered, implementing a nickel substrate within the platter. However, premature failure of the multilayer discs, usually from separation of the layers and resulting in damage to the player if a disc in such condition was played, forced RCA to search for solutions to the problem or alternative materials for constructing the disc.[9] The final disc would be crafted using PVC blended with carbon to allow the disc to be conductive. To preserve stylus and groove life, a thin layer of silicone was applied to the disc as a lubricant.[10]”

2009 comment on IMDB: “I saw this, at least an exploitation film with this title, around 1960, close to when I saw Lash of the Penitentes, of no relation except both were knocking around in the days before the porno dam busted. When the baby started birthing (or is it the mother who births?) there was a cut, whether a splice or an editor’s cut I cannot say, but the viewership, which was mostly interested in the medical aspects, of course, was robbed of an unencumbered shot of private parts. Anybody who tells you these were the “good old days” wasn’t there, or has suffered memory loss. The film was even less sexy than the chopped up burlesque films that were also making the circuit, if you can believe that. Wonder whatever happened to that kid?”
