We’re guessing that the mentioned park is the Wildwood Park that eventually became Meydenbauer Beach Park in Bellevue. It was a site for various picnics over the years. There was an Irish one in August, 1919 and here’s a photo from 1914 that has a banner for a Socialist picnic (the latter photo from Paul Dorpat’s look at some Lake Washington crossings that existed prior to the 520 floating bridge).
